After the rapid prototype has been produced a RTV (room temperature vulcanising) rubber mould is made. This rubber is virtually no shrink, certainly not on small jewellery items. This rubber mould enables several of the same item to be reproduced from this process.Wax is injected into the rubber mould producing a replica of the prototype. The wax product is then put through the lost wax casting process. You can specify your required metal.

Once cast you can have the raw casting returned to you or have further processes carried out by ra design. We can clean castings up for the purposes of master making or we can carry the item through to a finished stone set product.

Cast items in gold and platinum invoices must be paid on a pro forma basis. Finished stone set items will require a deposit before materials and stones are purchased.
